Beach Girl
Here we have my daughter on her 17th birthday at the beach. - mostly collage papers and some paint with a glaze to age the picture.
A couple of experimental ideas...I made the paper that looks like sand. I just used medium and glued long strips of cotton to a piece of tissue paper. I made it sometime ago and been wanting to use that somewhere. Also, the basket was made by scanning in a piece of cane wallpaper. Then printing the appropriate size.
The white wave and sail were made from tissue paper that I stamped with a piece of cheese cloth.

Beautiful, Diana! I envy you your ability to work so well with shapes. I struggle with this all the time.
I love these pieces! I'm a fellow flyer :) and just wanted to pop in and say hi. I was looking to see if there were any co pilots nearby, and I was pleasantly surprised to fine that there are a handful of us. I love your work, and am off to have a look around your blog.
I love, love, love your style! These are wonderful and you are so creative. I'm a fellow flyer who just saw your post and came by to say "hey".
