Wait a minute...are you on the right blog?
Yes you are, because the angle of these photos has been inspired by Jennifer of Studio JRU. Besides her obvious artistic talent, I've admired her photographic talent as well. Look at the way she photographs her art and details at interesting angles. Very fun. She adds so much interest with a little turn of the camera. Yes, I noticed and love it.
So, about these 2 new paintings ....the coffee shop has inspired these little coffee drinks paintings on masonite board. I'm still using my favorite orange/red acrylic underpainting with a bold turquoise oil background.

I painted the sides with black gesso so they can easily be displayed with an easel in a bookshelf or on a kitchen counter.
A Good Cup of Joe, 6x6, oil on masonite |
These will be available in my Etsy shop soon, too.
Once again, I am linking up with Studio JRU and all of you lovely Sneak Peek Talents!

Dear Diana-I just read your interview with the 2 beautiful sisters at ClaraBella Murals...I have to tell you that I am crying right now. Oh! That sweet little girl. What a sad sad story...however...her mom really used that experience to create magical, healing art. thank you so much for sharing their story with us.
I also want to congratulate you on your coffee shop showing. It is exciting to see all your work hanging on a wall..no matter where it is! And your coffee cup paintings are yummy:) Big hugs XXX
LOL Yay... love the photos Diana! :) And these coffee pieces are gorgeous! I love the turquoise with the bits of orange peeking through. Where do you get your boards? Is it different to work on than any other kind of wood? Love how it looks on an easel! :)
Your work is absolutely beautiful!
I love , just LOVE those paintings and the angle of the pictures is amazing! I am a mess with the camera but I will love to learn to do that.
Have a lovely weekend and ...good sales in the Cafe!!
Oh, yes! I can see the coffee house inspiration! And the angles are nice, but then, I always thought your photos were great! Turquoise and reds are the colors of the season I think! I love the new pieces!
Blessings!
So very cool-both the art...AND..the photos!
Your photo angles are great! I really like the orange/red underpaint. I couldn't put my finger on why I like the texture/appearance of your paintings so much but that color peeking through just adds something amazing. Love it!
the photography just CAPTURES the beauty of the work magnificently!
Well on your blog I am loving the art and the angle!
