Sneak Peek Friday

I'm participating in the link party,  "In the Studio", hosted by one of my Flyer friends, Jennifer from Studio JRU.  It's kind of a fun way for everyone to see what your working on at the moment and to see other studios, too.

I had my hubby cut a few of these 6" x 6" masonite boards to try out.  Here I'm adding  some watercolor pencil, but its not quite finished.  I am constantly checking the composition by scanning it into the computer to truly seeing the painting.

"My Buds",. 6" x  6",  watercolor, gouache, w/c pencil on gesso'd masonite
What I love about painting watercolor on this board is you can wipe off what you don't like.  Unlike painting on watercolor paper, you can virtually start over.  Problem is you start wiping, and you end up wiping an area you loved!

If you want to join in the fun, just click on the "In the Studio" button on the right and give it a try.
