We all use different areas of our homes to create. Many of us have multi-purpose rooms and tables. I used our kitchen table to paint watercolors so that I could be with the family at night. Eventually, the drafting table served the purpose. Now that I have a nice studio to work from home, I have to be very clean and organized.
This is what my table looks like during the day. Here I'm designing the layout and storage for a boy's closet.
Here's my table at night. This is a clean day. Most of the time I get glue, paint and paper everywhere. The Borco vinyl top was in such bad shape, I almost bought a new one, but then I just found this little can of Goof Off in our cabinet, and it works great on getting off the glue or anything. Smells like gasoline!

THanks for the sneak peek into your creative world:D
great dual purpose desk, and wow at your art, i can just about paint a basic base coat on something let alone 'proper art'
Yuck ... I hate the smell of gasoline ... guess my work surface will just have to stay sticky then :0)
You are really talented and I admire that.
Luv Joanne xx
I love your table at night. That painting is beautiful.
Fab desk, thanks for sharing.
I love your watercolours. I'm afraid watercolours in tubes/blocks and I don't get on very well. However I can work very well with the Derwent inktense pencils. Thanks for sharing your desk. Anita

I like both views, but I was a mechanical engineer in a previous life. Of course, I can't even paint the simplest shape, so that watercolor painting is gorgeous. I like how you shown it with the water and paints, too. Lovely desk, both day and night.
Gosh, you create in two entirely different ways - am uber impressed! Love the light in your studio...is that really an electric eraser??!!
Is that a painting of yours? It is fantastic.
