My poor girls....any picture from our computer is subject to becoming a painting. I picked this picture because I love Kristen's expression. The question now is how to finish it. I already tried collage paper and music notes and then I came across a piece damask wallpaper. So, I found some online for the purpose of this portrait study.
My photoshop skills are basic, but I managed to get it to a point where I could see if I want to do this to the portrait or not. This way I can experiment all I want and decide later.
I darkened her hair and shirt really quick with the Picnik program to see if I could get her to pop against the background. I really like it, but I think I would rather start over and do her more flat paint, poster style. What do you think?

diana,
all three renditions are gorgeous. i'm so in awe over your talent.
frame them all and be done with it. if i had just the amount of talent you have in your pinky, i'd be one happy woman!
xo to you my friend.
Diana they are all amazing! The way you capture expressions in your art is incredible! If I had to pick I like the first one....simple.
Great work!! :)
What a great muse to work with. I am very excited to see what you come up with. All three renderings are beautiful but I LOVE THE EDGINESS of the third one.
Love them all! particularly like the modern feel of the third one!
