I feel so grateful to be asked to be a part of this talented group of teachers at Artful Gathering.  Everyone is so supportive and it has given me the courage to be in front of a camera and share what I love to do!

Reindeer Ornament Sculpture

This reindeer sold over the weekend.  I got use to having him hang around the studio.    Looks like it's time to mix up another batch of paper mache.

I treated myself to a new phone cover with one of my images from Zazzle.   I picked red so I can find it in my purse!  Ha Ha

I just love the close up quality of these plaster paintings.  They have such great appeal.  Here I tried to keep it light, colorful and airy. 

Crackle Gackles

Creating this plaster background was very fun, but I had no idea what to put in the foreground.  I decided on a coastal bird, but it just didn't look right against all the cracks and texture. Then I thought of these crows and they definitely worked for me.
